2026 Lions Legends Basketball Tour
For 31 years, Herman Moore and other Lions Legends have shown up in communities across Michigan -- not for recognition, but because it matters.
This tour has become a generational tradition, with parents who once attended as kids now bringing their own children. This year, for the first time, we are inviting businesses and organizations to join us in making an even greater impact.
Your sponsorship will directly fund free mental health services for first responders and educators, providing therapy sessions with licensed counselors at no cost to those who serve our communities.
A Message from Herman
“For 31 years, I’ve shown up in these communities — not for money, not for recognition, but because it matters. These are families who come year after year, passing this tradition from one generation to the next. Now, we have an opportunity to make an even bigger impact by funding free mental health services for first responders and educators — those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others. I’m inviting businesses and organizations who share this commitment to step up and be part of something lasting.”

A Lifelong Impact
"The kids who used to come to the game are now parents. They're bringing their kids and saying, 'I remember this guy.' Who would have ever thought playing a basketball game I would have people bringing back pictures of me holding them or putting them on my shoulders?
"Now they're bringing their kids and I'm holding them like I held their parents. "How do you put a value on that, other than for your soul?"
