The Tackle Life Foundation’s goal is to capture youth at an age where foundational academic skills can still be influenced and mental confidence strengthened. The foundation seeks to engage youths by offering enrichment programs that expose them to mobile applications development, website development and desktop application development.
There exists a growing need for services and programs that expose interested teens and young adults to natural career choices and available college scholarships. By offering introductory programming, website development, and additional educational programs, teens and young adults are provided life skills, foundational structure, guidance and inspiration to seek careers in the emergent computer science, business applications and sports technology sectors.
The Tackle Life Foundation provides 6-week coding camps for teens and young adults. This program offers the following:
- Week 1 - Introduction to Programming
- Week 2 - Java Development
- Week 3 - Web Development
- Week 4 - Android Development
- Week 5 – Internet of Things (IoT) Development
- Week 6 - Group Projects
We seek to expand these services by creating sports and education academies that offer career training opportunities to learn sports broadcasting, journalism, videography and photography.
